Aiko goes to see exhibit of grandmother

Tokyo’s oldest department store, famous Takashimaya, hosts a photo exhibition entitled "Empress and her children", which has been organised by Japan’s Mainichi Newspaper.

On Saturday Crown Prince Naruhito took his wife Princess Masako and daughter Aiko to see the many pictures of Aiko's grandparents, father and uncle and aunt. Naruhito wore the same tie as one week earlier.

Masako one week earlier missed the grand opening of the exhibition about her in-laws, which was attended by the rest of the Imperial Family. Masako is more and more critisized for missing these (semi) official engagements.
