Dutch Prince Pieter-Christiaan went to The Hague Townhall to register the birth of his son Pieter Anton Maurits Erik van Vollenhoven, Friday morning. By Dutch law registration of a birth has to take place within three days of a birth, in the city where the birth took place. Hence the registration in The Hague, where the latest addition to the Dutch royal family was born in Westeinde Hospital in the wee hours of Wednesday November 19. Prince Pieter-Christiaan and his wife Princess Anita live in the nearby seaside resort of Noordwijk.
