Prince Akishino and Princess Kiko visited the Romanian Institute for Apiculture Research, in Bucharest, Friday on the last day of their four day visit to Romania.
Prince Akishino and Princess Kiko earlier this week told Romanian President Traian Basescu they were interested in learning as many things as possible about the Romanian cultural heritage and about Romania during their visit.
One way of doing so was by visiting the Village Museum in Bucharest, where Prince Akishino tried to play the 'Pan flute', as Princess Kiko and Romanian pan pipe artist Nicolae Voiculet looked on. The Village Museum is an outdoor museum with centuries old authentic Romanian houses and churches. The imperial couple planted some cherry trees there.
On Thursday, the Japanese visitors went to Sinaia, where they visited a monastery and the nearby Peles royal castle and on Friday - the last day of the visit - they went to the Farming School at Branesti, and the Institute of Apiculture Research and Development.

I sincerely wish that Prince Akishino would get a proper haircut. His hair style is not only outdated, but it makes him look unkempt and unprofessional.
