© GPD AP Photo/Kyodo News Japan's Princess Aiko took the family dog Yuri along on a trip to the imperial ranch outside Tokyo, Saturday.
With her parents Crown Princess Masako and Crown Prince Naruhito the young princess travelled by train from Tokyo to Utsunomiya station, north of the capital.
The young dog looked with suspicion at the photographers in front of him.
Prince Akishino and his wife Princess Kiko meanwhile helped their son Prince Hisahito feed carp in a pond while taking a walk at a park near the Hayama imperial estate.
