Prince Pieter-Christiaan took part in Sunday's Five Boro Bike Tour through the five boroughs of New York. He was one of 32,000 participants.

The Dutch Prince is a frequent guest in the Big Apple, having competed in several New York Marathons and joining his parents Princess Margriet of the Netherlands and Professor Pieter van Vollenhoven for the annual Peter Stuyvesant Charity Ball.

Prince Pieter-Christiaan, 40, is an avid sportsman, and is took part on behalf of the Laureus for Sport foundation. © GPD
