Princess Carolina of Bourbon Parma, 37, youngest daughter of Princess Irene of the Netherlands and the late Prince Carlos Hugo, Duke of Parma, will marry Mr Albert Brenninkmeijer, 38, on June 16th, at the San Miniato al Monte Basilica in Florence.

Most members of the Dutch royal family will be present in Italy, including Queen Beatrix, Prince Willem-Alexander and Princess Máxima. Obviously Prince Friso will not attend, and Professor Pieter van Vollenhoven and Princess Anita had to return their invitations for reasons of health.
