The Infantas Leonor en Sofia were taken by their parents Prince Felipe and Princess Letizia to the Santa María los Rosales school, at the start of the new school year. The young princesses did not answer questions of the waiting journalist, Spanish daily ABC reported on its web site.
Leonor and Sofia, dressed in schooluniform, looked rather timid, but showed a faint smile as they posed for the photographers at the entrance to the school. "They have been looking forward to the start of school. They wanted to see their classmates again", the princely couple said.
