Luxembourg's Prince Félix presented his German fiancee Claire Lademacher to the press, Thursday at Château Berg, the family residence in the Luxembourg country side. And if the media expected to hear a date for the nuptials, they were disappointed. None was forthcoming, although the Court indicated the wedding would be held on the bride's 'home territory' - as by tradition for all but the heirs to the throne.
Possibly the royal family is still looking for a good date for the wedding. Princess Madeleine of Sweden already has taken June 8, and no doubt there are other royal events which have to be taken into account.
Prince Félix will take his fiancee to her first official family engagement on Friday, when they will join the entire family for the civil wedding of Archduke Christoph of Austria and Adélaïde Drapé-Frisch at the Town Hall of the ancient city of Nancy, former capital of the Duchy of Lorraine, wich has strong connections to the Habsburgs. The religious ceremony will be held on Saturday.
