Norway's Princess Märtha Louise and her husband, writer Ari Behn, are expecting their third child, the royal palace announced Thursday.
The 36-year-old princess is the eldest child of King Harald V and Queen Sonja, but her younger brother Crown Prince Haakon is next in line for the throne.
The palace statement said the child is expected in mid-October and that the expectant mother is in excellent condition and a normal pregnancy is expected.
