The Dutch Royal 'Train' had a short delay in Innsbruck Saturday morning on its way to Landeck-Zams. The train driver went missing at the scheduled change of crew. It gave train spotters ample time to take pictures of the blue carriage which was attaches to the Alp Express from Holland to Austria.
Prince Willem-Alexander promised his daughters they would travel by train at the start of their winter holidays in Lech, where the Dutch royals traditionaly spend their skiing vacation. It brings back happy memories for the 'king-in-waiting' as his parents regularly used the train when the princes were still young. In later years however the plane was used to get to Austria. © RB
