Dutch King and Queen meet Myanmar President

President U Thein Sein of Myanmar will visit the Netherlands on the final leg of his one week 3-country tour of Europe. The President, who arrived in Germany on Tuesday, will meet with Dutch King Willem-Alexander and Queen Máxima separately.

The Queen will meet him next Tuesday at home in Wassenaar in her capacity as UN special advocate for inclusive finance, and the King will welcome him at Noordeinde Palace as head of state. President Thein Sein will also get together with Dutch Prime Minister Mark Rutte, and a number of Dutch ministers.
