Dutch Princess Amalia is an Internet hit. The short video her father King Willem-Alexander shot Monday at the departure of his eldest daughter to school, has now been viewed over a million times. On Facebook, the movie has already over 34 000 likes.
Prinses Catharina-Amalia op weg naar school

The king made the clip with his iPhone and the Government Information Service (RVD) posted the video on the Facebook page of the Royal House. The images also appeared in the Dutch evening news 'NOS Journaal' and in other TV broadcasts. Amalia started high school on Monday and went to school on het 'granny' bicycle.
At the same time a discussion started on Twitter and the Internet about the August 23 date stamp that Facebook had given the film, giving the impression that the recording was already made on Sunday. However, as was explained afterwards, that was because the server of Facebook is located in the US, and there it was still Sunday when the video was uploaded.
