Running is one of the passions of Dutch prince Pieter-Christiaan, son of Princess Margriet and Pieter van Vollenhoven. The Prince showed his skills on Saturday at the Olympic Stadium in Amsterdam, were he participated in the inauguration of the 3rd National Running Day.
Prince Pieter-Christiaan was joined by Dutch minister for agriculture and nature, Mrs Gerda Verburg. Together they rang a Chinese gong, to get the day started and to remind of this year's olympic games in Beijing.
The day was organised by the Dutch Athletics Union, KNAU.
